Tech Assessment Day

On Tuesday 12th Sep 2023 we ran our first ever Associate Engineer Assessment day. Bringing future talent and succession into our business is part of our long-term engineering strategy.

It was a fantastic day of networking and solving coding problems. Alongside our hiring managers, many of our current engineers at all levels joined the day to chat to applicants and share their experiences. We did a show and tell about all things Tech at Checkatrade and enjoyed lots of goodies and refreshments along the way.

We were blown away by the talent and walked away from the event with five successful hires for now and hopefully more to come down the line!

It's such a fantastic feeling to be part of these huge career moments with our people. Here's a snippet from Marcos, one our newly appointed Associate Software Engineers:
