About The Role

Where do you fit in?

Responsible for a talented team of Advisors, you’ll ensure they have the training and tools they need to support our members to stay with us. With your retention experience and using your leadership skills to inspire, coach and motivate, you’ll keep your team energised and enthusiastic, ensuring they provide a consistently excellent service. Your team will be super knowledgeable about all the features and benefits of Checkatrade membership – and able to clearly communicate this information to Members.

Able to analyse data and spot key trends and themes, you’ll be confident at reporting on this information, and on the impact it this has on our membership numbers versus our forecasts.

You’ll delegate work, supervise, and monitor feedback to ensure that our service is of the highest standard. Involved in the recruitment, training, mentoring, and monitoring of your team, you’ll work with departments across Checkatrade. You’ll play a key role in this exciting period of growth and expansion for our business and beyond, with lots of training and help to succeed.

What do you need to succeed?

  • Previous team leader / management experience within a customer service environment is a must, and within a phone based / contact centre environment would be an advantage. You’ll be passionate about both customer experience and consumer protection
  • You’ll be emotional intelligent, decisive, approachable, and a role model to your team. You’ll be analytical with ability to interpret data to drive actionsfocussed on achieving targets and results while upholding our values
  • You’ll be positive and proactive - willing to learn and progress to ensure the success of your team and our business
We work 35 hours per week on a three weekly rolling shift pattern. Shifts are between 8am - 8pm Monday to Saturday (with one Saturday worked in three).
