About The Role

Where do you fit in?

You'll talk to a huge variety of tradespeople – providing advice and guidance, offering support, and helping them to get the most from their membership. You’ll become an expert in all things Checkatrade, from products and services, to offers, promotions and member benefits. You’ll take complex queries in your stride - taking responsibility for your calls and ensuring a one call resolution wherever possible. With strong admin and IT skills, you’ll log each call, keeping records accurate and up to date. 

You’ll be joining the largest team within Checkatrade – a friendly, fun bunch who love to help people.

What do you need to succeed?

  • A background in a phone-based customer service role is a must. Call/Contact Centre experience would be an advantage. You’ll have brilliant customer service skills, be confident with IT and a total team player
  • You'll be used to working to KPI’s in a fast-paced environment with lots of change, with excellent communication skills – you’ll be confident, concise and calm under pressure
  • You’ll be positive and proactive - willing to learn and progress. You’ll know what excellent looks like and will always strive for the best results for our tradespeople and our business

Hours – 35 Hours per week, Monday to Friday – on a three-week rolling shift basis – 8am-4pm, 9am-5pm 12pm-8pm (Saturday working required on a shift pattern)
