Database Marketing Manager (B2B)

We have an exciting newly created opportunity for a data and insights driven Trade Marketing Manager/ Database Marketing Manager  to undertake responsibility for  management and optimisation of all trade marketing data to enable the team to deliver more targeted, personalised and accurate marketing campaigns to potential new trade members. 

We are open for either Portsmouth or London base, however, min 1 day head office attendance in Portsmouth is required post-lockdown.

Where do you fit in?

Reporting to the Trade Acquisition Marketing Manager you will own data and insights for the team being responsible for the end-to-end management of the timely data sourcing, system uploading and structural organisation to aid sales conversions and meet business targets. Responsible for B2B segmentation and insights you will define and build a view of total accessible trade universe to support effective campaign planning and optimising conversion to membership across our trade acquisition activity. You will undertake data cleansing to enrich our data further and advanced the build of our own opted-in marketing database along with delivering real time health checks on the status of our 1st and 3rd party data. You will use A/B testing to achieve exemplary results along with helping us to simply processes between multiple databases and interfaces e.g. Salesforce, Weboffice, Ultra, Pardot, Mgage and Sending blue. Additionally you will also work closely with our BI team to design and build dashboards for real time visibly of marketing performance.

What do you need to succeed?

  • Degree educated or equivalent in marketing, IT or similar discipline along with a proven track record of data management for marketing campaigns which deliver exceptional results.
  • Experience managing technical aspects of key marketing systems and daily work with marketing automation, CRM, data services, and lead management methods.
  • Highly analytical and driven with exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
